In addition to creating musical memories for newlyweds in a unique one-of-a-kind wedding reception in the Delmarva region, DeSantis Entertainment also works in conjunction with you, the catering staff, wedding planner, photographer, and other wedding day vendors. This level of service and coordination on our part helps keep the timeline, flow and special events on your agenda moving along flawlessly. This in turn allows you to relax, dance, party, and make memories with friends and loved ones.
We pride ourselves on our musical knowledge and are always ready to take requests and unless otherwise instructed, DeSantis Entertainment only plays clean, edited versions of songs. The categories of music we carry include Current top 40 dance, EDM, House, Hip Hop, Urban, Pop, Reggaeton, Moombahton, Dubstep, Trap, Throwbacks, Motown, Classic and Modern Rock, Big Band, 50’s, 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s, Modern Country, R&B, Christian, Ethnic and much more!
DeSantis Entertainment only performs on professional grade DJ digital sound reproduction equipment, utilizing well known industry brands such as Denon, QSC, EV and Shure. We only use the best DJ software, and our constantly updated audio and video music library spanning several decades, is acquired through paid music subscription services guaranteeing you the absolute in crystal clear sound. We also bring back up equipment to each and every event and we also have battery power packs for your ceremony and cocktail hour when outside. We also have an inverter generator if needed to supply power for outside activities such as a wedding ceremony or corporate picnic.
(Please note there is an additional charge of $75.00 for the gas generator and we do not provide music or microphone services for on the beach events that are more than 50 to 75 feet away from a building.)
Communication and planning are particularly important to the success of your event and DeSantis Entertainment provides the necessary tools to help make that happen for you. We start by being by your side from the first contact until your last dance, listening to your ideas and suggestions while offering our own suggestions, gleaned from decades of experience.
You get all of our DJ event management expertise, knowledge, and advice to help plan your event. We never tell you how to run it…we just help you make your occasion the absolute best it can be. In addition, we provide a seven-page wedding planner that helps give you ideas on how you would like your wedding ceremony and reception to unfold. We are eager to serve you and as a result, DeSantis Entertainment is extremely fast to answer phone calls, texts, and e-mails.
Our on-line planning tools feature a client/log-in area where you are assigned a password and while you are on this tool you can create a do/do not play music list, customize your perfect wedding celebration utilizing our online wedding planning forms and you have access 24/7 to make changes. We would also like to mention that we carry two million dollars in liability insurance for your protection.
If you are in the beginning planning stage for your event Desantis Entertainment understands that there are many considerations such as what venue to have your party, decorations, flowers, photography, DJ entertainment and a multitude of other details to review. Pricing of DJ entertainment in the Delmarva and southern Pennsylvania regions will vary greatly in price and quality depending on the time of the year and type of event. Hiring the most expensive DJ or the cheapest DJ is not necessarily in your best interest. You should always reach out to three Disc Jockey Companies to get a feel for a positive attitude towards your specific event, pricing, experience with your type of event, what DJ entertainment package suits your needs and so forth. Once you have narrowed down your choices your final decision should be based on quality, not price.
An established DJ company such as DeSantis Entertainment will have invested anywhere from 12 to 20 hours into your event although it may appear that you are only paying for 4 hours. Client consultations, organizing and perfecting the wedding planner, acquiring, and organizing music, contacting other “day of vendors” set-up and tear-down of equipment in addition to performance time all add up to the complete success of your incredibly special day.

During the call I will answer all of your questions and give you specific pricing for your wedding package and any helpful tips to help you plan your wedding ceremony and reception. You are also welcome to reach out via e-mail with questions. If you feel there is a fit, then we can schedule a face-to-face meeting (package “Memories Are Made of This” is phone and email consultation only) and at this meeting we will go into more detail concerning your event. After our talk, you are welcome to hire me or take up to one week to make your decision. During this time, your date will be on hold. After the one-week period the date will be released to the next client in line. If you decide to book you will be provided with an easy-to-understand agreement.
The agreement becomes binding only with both parties’ signatures and a retainer of $300.00 to formally hold your date. The balance is due in check, cashiers check or cash on the day of your event.
The next step is to get signed into our on-line planning portal. From here you can develop your musical play list as well as your do not play list. Your online wedding planner is completely private and can be accessed only by DeSantis Entertainment or by you, 24/7. While in the portal you will be custom crafting the important details of your joyous occasion such as the bridal party introductions, special dances, toasts, and any other desired activities. While you are creating your timeline do not forget you can make changes up until a few days before showtime!
During this phase of your wedding planning, we are always available to take calls and emails to answer any questions or concerns. After you have completed and submitted all of your planning forms, I will schedule a telephone appointment to review all of your information for accuracy on both our parts. If I am unsure about a special song you have requested, I will play a portion of it over the phone to make sure it is the correct version.
